As you enter Epcot you are met with the sight of the 180-foot-high geodesic sphere known as Spaceship Earth, the symbol of Epcot (or to many .... a giant golf ball!). Behind the silver-colored landmark is a showplace for man's achievements past, present and future, and an international fellowship of nations.

Epcot is divided into two different 'lands' - Future World, which brings guests face to face with scientific achievements and tomorrow's technologies; and World Showcase, which opens the door to cultures from around the globe celebrating the sights, sounds and cuisines from 11 nations.

In Future World, check out the 3-D misadventure, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience and don't miss Test Track! At the Wonders of Life, race through the human body in Body Wars and find out more than you could ever have imagined at The Land and The Living Seas. At Innoventions, travel down the Road to Tomorrow to explore how science and technology are improving our lives.

In World Showcase, eleven different countries offer the best of their culture, entertainment and cuisine. Dining at Epcot is also world-famous. Renowned restaurants like Italy's L'Originale Alfredo di Roma and Japan's Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki are only a few of the authentic dining experiences located in World Showcase.

At Epcot, visitors can experience Disney's newest entertainment extravaganza IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, a night time spectacular filled with thunderous fireworks, sky-piercing lasers and a high-energy soundtrack. Disney's Animal Kingdom ® Park
Experience creatures real and imaginary in thrilling adventures and magical surprises.

From the moment you step into Disney's Animal Kingdom, you realize this is not your typical theme park, nor is it your typical zoo. Walk through the entrance and the lush landscape of The Oasis provides the gateway to the adventures that await guests. It is a natural place of flowering glades and tumbling waterfalls. Guests are free to explore several lush paths that lead to natural animal habitats of miniature deer, brilliant macaws, an anteater, iguanas and tree kangaroos.

Once you've passed The Oasis, you will come to a bridge spanning a peaceful river. The bridge leads to Discovery Island, which is at the center of Animal Kingdom. The park is laid out in a classic hub-and-spoke Disney style with the hub being Discovery Island connecting a series of "lands."

These "lands" offer guests opportunities to discover not just animals, but many adventures designed to educate and entertain. More than 1,700 animals representing 250 different species make their home at Animal Kingdom, yet you won't see many behind bars here. Instead you can explore the spacious habitats of the wild animals by taking a safari. Guests also can be whisked on a wild ride aboard 12-seat rafts down the Kali River Rapids, dig for fossils in DinoLand U.S.A., watch stage shows like The Lion King, and much more!

The Disney Water Parks

Hit the beach, slides and surf of Disney's two watery playgrounds. Splash into a world of fun and thrilling attractions for big kahunas and shore huggers of all ages.

Disney's Blizzrd Beach
Storm into the most slushy, slippery, exhilarating ski-resort-turned-Water-Park anywhere!

Where in Florida can you see snow everywhere, but the only ice is in the soft drinks? At Blizzard Beach, of course!

The 66-acre Blizzard Beach water adventure park located in Florida's Walt Disney World Resort is strictly tropical, but the combination of water park with the atmosphere and excitement of a major ski resort in the midst of a tropical lagoon is... well, zany.

As legend has it, Blizzard Beach was created by a freak winter storm which dropped snow over the western side of the Walt Disney World property and Florida's first snow-ski resort was planned immediately.

However, the plan was short-lived. Temperatures soared and the ice and snow rapidly began to melt. Dismayed ski-resort operators, ready to close, spotted a playful alligator sliding down the "liquid ice" slopes and realized the melting snow created the tallest, fastest and most exhilarating water-filled ski and toboggan runs in the world.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
Plunge into a topsy-turvy tropical paradise of awesome snorkeling, sliding and bodysurfing.

Where can Modern-day Swiss Family Robinsons immerse themselves in a day of adventure in a water playground that looks like it was left behind by a great storm? At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon!

Located near Downtown Disney West Side, the 56-acre water park includes a man-made watershed mountain with eight twisting-and-turning water slides and roaring streams. A two-and-one-half acre wave-making lagoon features surfing-size waves.

In a Typhoon Lagoon exclusive, guests come face-to-face with all the colorful creatures of the Caribbean when they snorkel in Shark Reef, a saltwater pool presented by NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors).

The park also features a water playground for children, sunny beaches and lazy streams surrounding a 95-foot mountain.
